SG Mahjong is made by Sing Jie Lee. This policy explains what the app and its game server handle, and why.
No accounts, no ads, no tracking
There is no sign-up. The app shows no advertising, contains no advertising or analytics SDKs, and does not track you across other apps or websites.
What the game server receives
- The name you type for online tables, shown to the other players at your table.
- A random player ID created on your device, so you can return to your seat after a disconnect.
- Your moves at online tables. A record of each finished hand (the shuffled wall, the moves and the result) is kept for up to 30 days so scoring disputes can be checked, then deleted.
- Your IP address, used only in memory to limit how many avatars can be made per hour, and in standard server logs kept briefly for security.
Games against the computer run entirely on your device.
Avatars (optional)
If you make an avatar, the photo you take or choose is sent to our server and passed to an image service (fal.ai) to draw a cartoon version, and may be checked by an AI service (Anthropic) to make sure it shows one person and is appropriate. We do not store your photo. The cartoon avatars are stored on DigitalOcean Spaces at unlisted web addresses and shown to the players at your tables. Email us to have your avatars deleted.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information.
Points
Scores in SG Mahjong are points only. Nothing of value can be bought, won, transferred or cashed out.
